Founded in 2020, Oversonic embodies these principles as a pioneering robotics company specializing in cognitive computing systems and humanoid robotics. We have emerged as a benchmark for Made in Italy innovation — the cutting-edge Italian robotics company pioneering the use of cognitive artificial intelligence in industrial and healthcare applications.

With our headquarters in Carate Brianza and a team of 65 dedicated professionals, Oversonic works every day to introduce products to the market that embody the entrepreneurship and technological know-how of Made in Italy through creativity and ingenuity.

We are a software company: our purpose is making cognitive robotics a widely available asset to help people. We want to create a society where humans and robots can grow and evolve side by side.

We will develop cognitive systems able to understand and engage within their context. These systems will cooperate with us by taking on the tasks we shouldn’t do ourselves so we can take back our time and status.

We are constantly looking for new solutions - harnessing our inner italian creativity - to have technology rise up to our challenges while keeping it human-friendly.

Our story —

Human, sustainable, Italian values.

The story of Oversonic begins with a vision to create technology that serves humanity. Founded by Fabio Puglia and Paolo Denti, our startup stands out for its creativity and ingenuity in humanoid robotics, combining deep technical expertise with distinctly Italian values of craftsmanship and human-centered design.

Since our inception, Oversonic has focused on research and development of cutting-edge technologies to create humanoid robots capable of performing complex tasks and interacting with humans naturally. Through extensive research and in-depth studies, we developed RoBee—the first cognitive humanoid robot Made in Italy to enter the market.

In 2022, we adopted the status of a Benefit Company, committing to operate responsibly, sustainably, and transparently towards individuals, communities, territories, the environment, and all stakeholders. This legal framework reinforces our commitment to creating technology that generates positive social impact alongside business value.

Founders —

Fabio Puglia — Founder & President

With a degree in Physics and Mathematics specializing in Astrophysics from the University of Milan, President Fabio Puglia has diverse experience ranging from robotics to automation. In 2013, Fabio Puglia led a project in Tel Aviv involving European and Israeli players in Water Management. A year later, in 2014, he signed international technological partnership agreements in Abu Dhabi in the presence of former Prime Minister Gianni Letta. In 2017, he participated in the ICT congress in Pasadena organized by NASA, discussing the innovative heat recovery system into energy developed by ISC, a company he founded in Carate Brianza. In 2020, he met Paolo Denti and together they decided to launch a startup developing advanced robotics systems.

Paolo Denti — Founder & CEO

Originally from Venice, Paolo Denti graduated in Economic Statistics from Padua, with a Master’s in International Marketing and Sales obtained in Scotland. He served as Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing for Benetton Sportsystem in the USA. Over the years, he held positions as General Manager of Nordica and board member of the Tecnica Group in China, Japan, and the USA. From 2008 to 2018, he was the CEO of Thun SpA. Before meeting the other founder of Oversonic, Fabio Puglia, in 2019, he was a partner and administrator of Soul Value and WUP3. The fusion of expertise in robotics and managerial experience gave rise to the design and construction of cognitive humanoid robots.

RoBee —

The creation of RoBee.

The RoBee project emerged from the ambitious goal set by our founders: to introduce the first cognitive humanoid robot "Made in Italy" to the global market. Drawing on their extensive industry experience, they envisioned a robot designed to operate in factories alongside people, particularly in hazardous environments, representing a model product for Industry 5.0.

RoBee embodies our philosophy that technology should augment human capabilities rather than replace them. Through cognitive artificial intelligence, RoBee can listen, converse, and integrate with human logic to support daily work across industrial and healthcare environments.
